3 Configuration

It is possible to configure many of the features of Hotspots to enhance your gaming experience.

3.1 Choosing a dictionary

The default dictionary used by Hotspots on start up is a file named dictionary.txt, which is included as part of the game files. You can change this to any text file of your choice from within Hotspots between games and during a game. The format required is one word per line and every word in upper case.

To change the dictionary click on the "Configure" drop down menu followed by "Set Dictionary". An open file dialog box will pop up. Navigate to the appropriate directory for the text file using the "Look in" drop down menu. Select the text file by clicking on the filename so as to highlight it and click "OK". The dictionary you chose will now be set for this and future games. For very large dictionaries please expect a slight delay on slower computers.
