End Game

In Hotspots the end game is a major area of strategy, as the first player to use all the available tiles has the last say in the game, which can mean one extra move. Usually this involves considering the available moves and the opponent's probable responses using the letters left in the game set.

With a complete enough knowledge of the dictionary and by deducing the letters remaining on your opponent's rack, determining what could be the only winning move in a tight end game is a significant skill.
